We are seeking a “Vendor Channel Manager” for our client, a top service provider renowned for trading and refurbishing used technology, such as cellphones and laptops. This company is dedicated to assisting manufacturers with sustainable practices and plays a significant role in reducing new tech expenses on a global scale.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Vendor Channel Manager is accountable for managing our vendor partners with a focus on delivering the maximum value to the business.
ROLE HIGHLIGHTS
- Working with one of our key accounts by building strong senior level relationships and driving their liquidation strategies through our market.
- Building out our Go-To Market strategy to generate leads to convert to new sellers on our marketplace.
- Travelling & presenting to potential new vendors with our marketplace platform.
- Engaging with your sales counterparts to forecast & plan sales activity in line with projected vendor supply.
- Dealing with your vendors compliance & performance metrics including quality compliance inspections/audits.
- Establishing standards for the vendors, finding the best available vendors, negotiating contracts.
- Interacting with vendors involving any concerns.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Has a minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within Account Management and/or Technology Distribution industry.
- Experience working with Operators & Major European Retailers in the telco & electronics sourcing/procurement space would be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new business models and challenge the status quo.
- Able to juggle multiple projects at any given time while remaining cool, calm and collected.
- Comfortable collaborating with people across different disciplines, teams and time zones.
- Willing to travel across Europe (up to 15%).
DESIRABLE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation in marketing, sales, business administration or supply chain management.
